Position Overview & Specifications

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the tech team of a successful sustainability company with Saas.

To be successful in this role you will apply your knowledge of AWS to ensure the smooth running of the company’s IT infrastructure, including:

CloudFormation
RDS
Elastic Beanstalk
IAM
CodePipelines
Configuration of VPN, subnets and security groups.

You will also bring with you experience of:

Jenkins, including setup and configuration to manage builds and test runs
Scripting in Poweshell or Python to manage builds and test runs
GIT flow or similar branching model
Developing and supporting Blue Green deployments
Supporting and promoting CI/CD processes within a development team
Troubleshooting and reporting on issues within local and hosted environments
SQL database development
Supporting both manual and automated testing with provisioning test environments

With a self-sufficient attitude, you will take ownership of tasks and manage them through to successful completion. You will have a collaborative approach and will bring with you experience of and enjoy working as part of a small team, and have the confidence to voice opinion and share ideas to improve the team’s work.

Salary: From £45,000.00 per year
